Everything these days is precision, precision this, precision that.... The word is so used and overused that it is meaningless.
Had I the authority I would restrict the term to any component of a weapon system that could produce 40 shot groups at 50 yd with every shot within 0.5 MOA from the aimpoint. So you could have precision bipods, precision bolt knobs, precision carrying cases, and of course precision shooters. Everybody else is an imprecise shooter.
