Predator Custom Shop

I met the owner of this, relativly small, custom rifle shop at a local shoot. Super nice guy!

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with him and what opinions you migh have about his products in general and specifically his Predator LRT (Rem 700 based precision .308).

Any input appreciated!

I have owned several rifles built by Jim's shop and they are all excellent rifles. He has built everything from gas to bolts for my friends and they are all satisfied. His prices are hard to beat also. You will be glad to do business with him.

They have built me two personal bolt rifles and they both shot extremely well! I am entirely satisfied not only with their quality of workmanship, and how they perform, but they are very interested in happy customers as well. We currently have all of our duty rifles being rebuilt, blueprinted, etc. with them now. I completely agree with the above poster on their prices and the belief that if you do bus. with them you will be happy you did!

I have a Predator Custom Shop Omega II here in 300WM and it is a tack driver.

I let some guys use it during a class and they are were equally impressed, and felt it was better than the issued Mk13 they were used to using.

I am hoping I can get something more detailed up in the next few days, unfortunately my schedule has been difficult at best.

But I will, I didn't just shoot the supplied handloads from Predator, but mixed it up with some A191, and actually used the rifle quite a bit, and the rifle is performing on all levels.

I would feel confident recommending them to anyone on this site.

I currently have 2 rifles with them right now and I have had my FAL, 870 and M&P .45 put through their Rhinohide process. As someone who is stationed in Guam, the home of all things humid, I can tell you I have had no issues at all with any of my guns suffering from the humidity.

These guys are awesome, both in product and customer service.

I am on my third build from Predator, got to say Jim and the boys are great..Would recommend them to anyone anyday..And I also saw the ballistics on that Omega II and it is awesome..

I had my PSS re-barreled and tweaked out by PCS now she shoots pretty good. I'd recommend them to anyone. I don't think they are that well known yet so there prices and wait time are reasonable. The customer service makes them even that much better. I’ll try to post some pics.

I've also been running a 16 inch Ar built by them for some classes and several carbine matches, and I have to say it's really accurate for a combat gun. I've shot several minute to minute and quarter five shot groups with their 20 inch version off a bipod and rear bag.
