I was curious if anyone else had seen this. I sent my LA predator to my my Gunsmith along with an A5 fully inletted for a Remington 700, badger m5 and #7 taper. The stock is fully inletted with factory pillars. Mike called me with a small problem. The ejection port on the predator is about 1/8 higher than the stock inlet. Everything else is perfect, magazine fit barrel channel, feeding etc. I called Stiller and Jerry said he hadn't seen that so I called Mcmillan. The production manager at Mcmillan told me this was common and the Stiller and the R700 were 2 different inlets. I always assumed that aside from the bolt release they were inletted the same. I have a SA Tac 30 in a Manners inletted for a R700 no problem. Has anyone else seen this? tried to search this but maybe I'm using the wrong terms I got nothing related to the ejection port fit.
