Just purchaced a premier heritage from mike at CS Tacticle. Number one C S is the place to get stuff, promp shipping. Mike is a shooter so he know what he is talking about. I just finished shooting the pheonix match and was very impressed with the fun tion of the scope. Highly recomended

Good shooting at the match Geordie. Out of all the PH's there, only one I think went down. A guy in my relay had his parallax freeze up, and the knob stripped out. It would move but no adjustment was taking place. He shot the whole match with the parallax setting frozen on about 150 yards, IIRC.
I guess that beats last year though...where 3 (including mine) S&Bs went down.
ETA: Geordie-did you find out how many of the top 10 were running Surgeon actions?

I don't know what it is about our little range, but it seems to be hard on scopes! I only heard of the one failure this year though.

I'm getting a 3-15 from Liberty when Scott gets more in stock in a couple of weeks. I wonder how many problems per 1000 Premier has as compared to Nightforce? If I remember right Premier sales have just topped 1000 recently and I am sure climbing pretty fast. (I'm not sure if that number is both scopes or one....just saw it somewhere.) But, that will be some interesting statistics to see.

On the elevation, yes. My windage clicks seem a little bland. They definitely aren't as finite as the elevation. I hold for wind anyway, so It doesn't bother me.
The elevation is most excellent though. One of the main complaints with these scopes was that the clicks "mush out" over time and especially in cold weather. I have not experienced this yet. The clicks are amazing and the audible and tactile differences between the .1mil clicks and the 1 mil "clunks" are most welcomed and unique.
The premier 5-25 is my favorite optic. Only time will tell if they stay that way.

Well, 2 broken, one bad out of the gates. This was last year mind you.
Mine had the parallax take a dump. Everything went blurry from one shot to the next. One had a cracked objective lense, and one had a CW turret with CCW knobs. Once he figured it out, he reset the zero to the second turn and adjusted backwards for the rest of the match.

So far so good on my 5x25, of course, it's a shelf queen right now. lol.

MTC is very cool... you never have to look at your knobs again. Dialing 7.2 mils in a standard scope would require counting 72 clicks. With MTC, you are counting 7 clunks and 2 clicks.
The big disadvantage is that the click after the clunk is hard to dial. I think it is actually faster to overshoot it and count back instead of trying to very gingerly turn to get to the next click.
Of course, the tight click spacing is what you sacrifice to get everything in 2 turns. I like the feel of the clicks on the NF better, but the Premier is easier to use. I can see why some might prefer the turrets on the NF. Personally, I think the NF turrets look cooler, too, but it is all about form over function. I prefer the Premier, which is basically very similar to a USO. Didn't USO invent MTC?
