President Trump's admin, during the past few days, have activated one of the most powerful weapons yet which can really put the clamp down on the out of control undocumented trespassing problem that we are facing right now: A computer network which can allow all employers to easily verify a potential candidate's resident status and flag a violator who uses a false Social Security number to apply for the job.
This network has been used in the past and was so effective at identifying undocumented job applicants that Obama had it disabled during his time in office.
The Democrats and "migrant rights coalitions" have started making the loudest squawks of protest ever heard since 2016, which only means one thing: They are running scared.
Border enforcement is just one thing when it comes to addressing the problem. The best way to deal with it is by cracking down right here on the street level. Any restaurant or food supply operator knows that the only way to get rid of pest infestations is by removing crumbs, placing goods in tear / bite resistant packaging, and degreasing all facility surfaces, thus removing the very source of sustenance for rodents and insects. When there is nothing available worth risking the penalties of being here illegally, those who are here illegally will have no choice but to leave.
Next step: Start requiring ALL employers to enforce I-9 paperwork and submit copies of each applicant's form to ICE and other appropriate agencies. Consider putting in place a nationwide system of no-announce audits which will levy staggering fines on any employer caught hiring illegals.
