Proof Research Carbon Fiber Prefit 22 inch 6mm Creedmoor 1:7.5 twist barrel. 405 documented rounds on barrel. Proof Research’s recommended barrel break in procedure was followed during barrel break in. Only cleaning chemicals used were Boretech Eliminator, Wipe-Out foam bore cleaner, and 99% isopropyl alcohol.
This barrel was professionally coated in FDE E- series Cerakote by LTM Refinishing LLC.
All shots were slow fired, no more that 5 rounds shot at a single time before a cooling period. This barrel shoots sub 1/2 MOA with factory Hornady 103 grain ELD-X and shoots 3/8 MOA with Copper. Creek 75 grain Vmax ammo. Only boxed ammunition ran through this barrel, no reloads.
The reason I’m selling is I caught the short barrel bug and went to a 16.5 inch barrels to be a little more handy in the field on both my daytime and nighttime coyote rigs.
