what makes the pre 13 so much better and how do you know when looking at a trg?
The trigger is better, more adjustable. The post 13 triggers have a limiter on the adjustment which prevents people who don’t know what they are doing from adjusting their triggers incorrectly causing it to not cock. This was a thing back then. The butt pad is different on the pre and post 13 rifles, that is one indication. The most easily recognizable way is by the trigger group, the post 13 rifles have a large wing style safety where the pre is a small thin bar with a tab on it. Both are great but the pre is certainly preferred in most circles.
