I had the chance last week to get up to see Orkan at his store front in South Dakota. I went there with the idea of looking at some high end scopes and possibly buying one. I discussed what I would like to do with the scope and got to get some hands on experience with a lot of the high end scopes (S&B, kahles, premier). After running them all, I couldn't make a decision. That's when Orkan suggested I look at one more. It wasn't one he was expecting to sell but after listening to me he felt it was the perfect fit. Long story short, I bought it. My point is he did not push anything on me as far as brand and educated me on pros and cons of various models. I will definitely continue to deal with him and would recommend others to consider it as well.

Nice choice! USO would have been my choice out of all the ones you mentioned. No doubt about it! I have never seen their 5-17x39 but I am a total sucker for their 3.2-17x44. That scope kicks ass on a level rarely seen before.

Nice! I get up to SD twice a year and still have not made my way to Huron. I'll be up there again this summer and will have to check out the shop.

I think it's beautiful even though some people describe the Badlands as the colon of the universe. If it's true however...then Huron is the shit that flows out of it. Make sure you're up to date on your shots before you visit.

The few interactions I have had with Orkan on the Internet and through email, he is a top notch guy. His articles have been very helpful to me. I pad them on to everyone who wants to learn something so they can practice correct techniques and principals.

Greg is not only GTG as far as sales go but is a wealth of information and he shares it openly. Check out his articles on his site. East to read and nothing left out. I find myself going there frequently and always come way with some little tidbit I can use in the future. Saving now for a DTA SRS and he is the vendor I plan on using.

Hahaha, I've passed through there while heading down to Sioux Falls, but it's been a few years. My Mom is from Hecla

+1 - just ordered my K 624i DT AMR + DTA mount and Greg made the customer journey as efficient as one can make! Quick turn around, fast handling, great packing & shipping and excellent pricing!!

10 out of 10! Will def. buy more and recommend him to my fellow shooters.
