I have several hundred Norma GTX 130gr bullets that I just cannot seem to get decent accuracy with. I posted in a previous thread awhile ago concerning these bullets and what I've tried. Now I have a Kreiger barrel instead of Criterion and they still just won't shoot under 1 inch. Does anyone know what Prime loaded with these bullets? I would like cartridge overall length, and what powder if it was known.

I've tried H4350 and Varget, and COAL from 2.8 up to 2.95 in .3" increments, 5 shots each. Nothing was consistent.

Should I try new Alpha brass? I use Alpha LRP brass and CCI 200 primers.

Since Prime ammo was produced by Norma I figured they used Norma bullets.

Absolutely, I'm not disagreeing. I think they did use normal bullets. They also got loaded by spark at point and loaded 142smk. They've had so many iterations that I lost track. However, i think at one point, a very long time ago (their original line), had RDF bullets. I could very well be wrong though. I'm curious now as well. Hopefully someone can chime in.

Load em shorter. The prime and Norma factory ammo I have is not even 2.8 oal.

I bought a few k at .23 a pop delivered of the Norma GTX and they're definitely more finicky than a 140eld or hybrid. I'll see what I settled on load wise that shoots ok from one barrel and quite decent from another that I didn't even develope it for haha

Edit: I use a BTO measurement but my load is around a 2.76" COAL. They liked to be jumped for me and like I said the factory loaded rounds are in this range as well

They used the Norma Diamond line 130gr, in a non moly coated version. They were also marketed as 130gr. Golden bullets.
    This. ^^^

As I understand it, Sierra copied this bullet, and marketed it as the 130gr Match bullet, back when Ruag and Prime had their huge spat. When Prime continued selling their 130gr ammo, it was with this cloned Sierra bullet.

I remember prime being loaded shorter as well, but I don't have the exact numbers to hand.

I also tried loading the 130 normas, and never could get the same accuracy out of them, even at the same or shorter lengths, or with two other powders (tried H4350, RL16, and superformance). I ended up selling them.

I have a few boxes of the post norma prime 130 - here are a couple quick measurements - peterson brass but I don't know the bullet manufacturer
