Prime Ammo - Everything Out of Stock?

Does anyone have any insight into why Prime is out of everything? I have been checking on their website for the better part of 3weeks now for .308 and they have been consistently of out stock. I then checked all rifle calibers and ALL are out of stock.

I think they are going through a huge move at the moment or just did. I’m sure it’s because of that.

That’s the reason they were having such a huge sale a few months ago.

Ever since I’ve found out about them a year and half ago they are always out. Their ammo can’t be that much better than hornady match and considering their prices aren’t anything special I gave up on that bandwagon long ago. Would love to reload but that will come later down the road.

Hornady shoots great and I can get it anytime so why change. I was goin to try the federal Berger’s but am to lazy to get muzzle velocity dope etc

A big move , that would make sense. However, Web sites are pretty easy to update and inform customers of such things and set expectations. The stuff shoots real well in my rifle and I am just too lazy to try something else.

I guess time to try another brand.

The moved from California to Tennessee. I dont think they are back up and running yet. Ever since they had their moving sale I have not seen any of the more popular ammo in stock.

I’m local to them and can nearly always get some from JJ Racaza’s shop even when the Prime website shows out of stock. Apparently he’s close friends with the Prime guys. When I called JJ the other day he was surprised that he was out of stock and said he’d call them and call me right back. I never heard back, so I’m not sure what’s going on, but I can’t even get it locally.

Besides them moving and having their ammo import paperwork fucked up etc...

I could see some wise folks buying it all for the PRS season. If I was Shannon I would have bought it all and had it for sale at comps LOL but I don't think he is that far down the revenue capturing stream yet...
