Anyone have any idea what bullet was used in this ammunition?

Shot well enough that I’m curious…

    (10rnds, horrible mirage… I guess everybody gets lucky…)

NOPE. These were on the Prime site AFTER the Spark / Peterson versions of Prime. I used to look at their website weekly and one day, about a year ago leading up the PA Galli course... BAM... that was available. So I bought 200 rnds to try out....

...and they came in what was CLEARLY an Alpha Munitions 100 round box (I have alot of their brass), and with that box label (in the pic above).

    SHOOTS GREAT.

...but I'd like the info on the bullet without having to take a round apart.

So now prime is being passed around?

RUAG, then Spark, now Eagle eye?
Well, to be fair, Spark went out of business....

It sorta makes sense that Prime would contract someone else.

I actually have some 130 RUAG that I bought years ago. Nothing wrong with it... It's funny that the 130SMK is a clone of the 130 Norma for Prime.

I purchased some directly from Eagle Eye and would swear it was Berger bullets…

    ETA: receipt says Berger 140s

Yeah, I looked at their site, but none of the bullets are a G7 at .308

RUAG is Norma. Norma now loads their own stuff in Georgia.

Sparks was part of Peterson Brass and apparently they cannot get enough components to load more.

Prime has always spec’d ammo and had other manufacturers rebrand for them.

Not being facetious just trying to be informative.

    Got a response from Prime:

    140gr SMK

"The 140 grain #1740 bullet is a superb competitor for ranges out to 1000 yards, in medium- and high-capacity 6.5mm cartridges."

Of course, Sierra doesn't make it easy to find the specifics of the G7 BC of the bullet...

Spoke to the owner of prime today… He was absolutely fantastic!

He indicated to me that when they loaded the ammo and went through their testing procedure that the .308 G7 ballistic coefficient they came up with was based on their results.
