I use magnum primers on my .308 loads and they work great. You simply have to start working your loads up from the low end of the scale, depending on the propellant you are using and work your way up. I wouldn't go much past the halfway mark. I typically use 42 - 44 GR of Varget with a 175 gr Sierra HPBT. I achieve .25 to .5 MOA from my TBA M40A1.
