Leup 45x Competition scope
YHM 22RF suppressor.

Detailed review and range report coming separate. Cerakote guy baked the plastic magwell and destroyed it. Gonna order a DIP aluminum magwell.

The CZ 457 magwell is shrouded in the chassis magwell, which is a little awkward, but unavoidable (other than in the Vudoo / 40-X, etc , which has the full size mag) Pic shows w/o magazine inserted cuz I haven't replaced the damaged magwell yet.

The chassis comes with a built in level. Its highly sensitive, which is nice, but when the "ball" inside hits either far extreme it makes a distinct clicking noise. Louder than you'd think. :)

Cheek rest doesn't have the traditional thumbwheel adjustment, but set screws on the right side and thumbscrews on the left side. Works just fine.

LoP is adjusted with set screws on both sides. While 22rf recoil is minimal, LoP adjustment is very secure.

Since the cerakote guy baked and destroyed the CZ plastic magwell (really, CZ???? Plastic? An alum on costs $50 more, at retail) I replaced it with a D.I.P. alum magwell:

Unfortunately, this required milling out the MPA chassis, a bit as well as the front lip of the magwell. All's well the ends well.... the magwell is fixed and the bbl'd action is installed.

This magwell is an excellent upgrade for any 455 / 457.

I also bought some 10 rd extended CZ 457 mags. Testing on those, later.

Nothing wrong with that plastic magwell, its cheap, it keeps the cost down for CZ but it plain works as designed. But damn that factory magazine release is too damn short. I have DIP setups on both my CZ's. I had to remove a little bit of material for it to work in the new MDT ACC 455 chassis instead of cutting up the chassis. MDT is now modifing the chassis to work with DIP magwell out of the box.

Yes, the cheapo plastic is functional... I just don't like plastic. :) Call me "high rent." :) I'd gladly pay an extra $50 to get an alum magwell. Good to hear MDT is setting it up right from the jump.

Summary of results thus far (6x5's) at 50 yds:

1. SK Pistol - 0.40"
2. SK Rifle - 0.39"
3. RemingtonEley Match - 0.41"
4. Federal GM Match - 0.40"
5. Remington Eley Match EPS - 0.49" (at 55 yds)
6. Lapua Center -X - 0.49" (at 55 yds)

Need to re-shoot Center - X at 50 yds.
