When shooting off bench, I have very pronounced bipod hop with the Atlas bipod when using BT37 feet. At times one foot comes off the table, etc..
However, when I reinstall the standard rubber feet, it's much more stable.
What is the best surface / position the BT37 spikes are best for vs the rubber feet?

Thanks!

things you need a spike for, rock tire dirt

rubber grips concrete and wood well

I use rubber on all surfaces, no problem. I have a couple bipods that only come with claw type feet, and though they work great in dirt, I prefer the rubber for all around use.

How you load the bipod matters.

I've ran the Hawk Hill feet for a couple years now because the Atlas rubber feet just aren't durable enough and I know exactly what you are talking about. The spikes dig in so well that anytime I'm shooting off concrete or wood, they bounce, get crooked, and then are a PITA to get back into position. I wish the Atlas rubber feet held up as well as Harris rubber feet do, because rubber works better overall for a variety of surfaces.
