There were several threads about the Karen Read trial while it was going on - evidence tampering , police changing statements - a star witness for the prosecution charged with perjury, lead detective on the case a known liar - sending sexual messages about the defendant, talking about the trial with witnesses- NONE of whom actually saw the event. Crime lab leaving food in the vehicle- and letting people mess with the car after it was in evidence- even trying to replace a part to make the story fit- head light I believe.
Prosecutor coaching testimony and suppressing evidence.

So no one disputed that a dirty cop was run over - Karen Read may even have been involved- BUT police changed their reports to say - “Karen Read started screaming what have I done” when she heard her husband was dead - and on the stand had to admit that on one actually heard her say anything close to that .

The type of complete shit show banana republic keystone court we’ve come to expect .
So if she actually did kill her husband- which the state presented 0 evidence of - she walked free because of evidence tampering and complete incompetence.
And if she didn’t do it there is a Boston State Trooper got murdered in front of his house and no one is looking for who done it

It was a mistrial. IIRC. So yes they can try it again

I hope they try the case again - completely expose themselves for the evil lying cockroaches that they are ; try this disaster of a case again , while the state as a whole refuses to arrest/charge illegal invaders - even the ones that fuck kids and murder citizens. It would be wonderful PR .

But the judge seems to be part of the corruption. The prosecutor. The cops. All covering for each other.

And read up on the Sandra Birchmore case. She was in the next town over, and some of same criminals were involved. The cops molested her as a teen, and in her early twenties she was impregnated by one of the cops that was a married family man, and instead of coming clean, he murdered her in cold blood. And then, The police found no wrong doing.
Thankfully the feds found some wrongdoing and convicted the piece of trash.

I think they are going to try again to convict her only as a Hail Mary to try to get a conviction from a different jury and to stave off the lawsuit she’s sure to file which may turn out to be the largest civil suit ever filed .

But I still really wonder - with all the evidence that was tampered with and all the witnesses statements that were changed and coached what are they going to use this time ? Maybe crayon drawings and a lot of “feelings” as in “we have a feeling she did this but even less physical evidence than we had the first time “
