Hello. I have a DD5v3 (16" .308) with a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 scope. Looking for a lighter weight but sturdy PRS stock, something with an adjustable cheek piece at the least.

I'm currently looking at the PRS Lite and the B5 Collapsable Precision Short, the PRS Lite can't take monopods but is lighter and cheaper.

Any thoughts on the two options?

I wouldn't call the B5 light but I like it way better than the Magpul precision. It just fits better and feels more thought out

Looking at some numbers online it also has the potential for a much shorter length of pull which is great for being directly behind the rifle. Cant belive the magpuls are like 14" minimum LOP, seems more suited for prone off angle shooting.

Got the B5 CPS Short stock for AR10s and I'm not in love with it yet, The cheek piece is so far back that my face hops over it and trys to put my cheek bone on the buffer tube. I tried fixing this by extending out the micro adjuster at the rear and putting the stock all the way forward on the buffer tube but my face still does it. Is my neck too long? LOL Not sure what to do yet. Also the cheek piece doesn't seem to raise high enough for a 1.54 optic height mount.
