Rifle Scopes PST 2.5-10x32 availability

I ordered the Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x32 earlier today from Optics Planet since they had it for 10% off and listed availability at 21 days, which was fine with me. I just received an email stating that availability has been updated to 7-9 weeks. I don't really want to wait that long. Does anyone know of an e-retailer that has it in stock (or that can get it relatively soon), and has good pricing?

Rare as hens teeth.....but worth the wait.

I do apoligize about the wait. Ive been working with a few orders for this scope. we are in contact with Vortex everday to get better ETA's. They're working hard to get them shipped out. Its money lost from everyone on longer waits. If you PM me your order number I can keep you updated every few days.

Thanks to Mike at Liberty Optics for selling me his last scope. Also, thanks to everyone who messaged me. It's good to know that you can get some help here.

EDIT: MY BAD! It was, in fact, Mike at CS Tactical! So sorry, Liberty Optics, if I inadvertantly upset any of your customers. Again, my mistake.

I ordered the MRAD version, I was far enough down the backorder list when I placed the order that I didn't get one of the shipment Scott got during the summer. I've been waiting on one ever since.

been in line for mrad myself. been in touch with scott. i believe he had moa in stock. though i believe the op might be talking about mike a cs tactical. he had one. i just missed it. (kinda sore about that whole deal actually)

Ive had one on order from a great Snipershide vendor here for 6 weeks. There is simply no news about ETA from Vortex. I ended up ordering and receiving a Bushnell Tactical Elite in 3-12 power. I am very happy with my "option B". Im not sure how inferior my Bushnell is but at least my rifle has a scope on it.

You're absolutely right. It was CS Tactical, not Liberty Optics. I don't know how in the world I got them confused, but I did. I edited my earlier post to acknowledge my mistake.

i figured. if that was his last one you purchased, you got lucky. that scope had my name on it, but missed out due to what i would consider poor customer service and communication. (not discrediting mike. i have never dealt with him. he did sound a bit busy on the phone. i think it was just the situation. but definately enough to leave a sour taste in my mouth.) glad you enjoy your scope! they are nice. i will find one eventually. hopefully scott will get some in soon!

Hmm. Seems there is such a lack of communication between vendors and suppliers! Some are saying they've been waiting months, some are saying vertex has told them 3-5 weeks. Heck, my go-to dealer (bear basin) didn't even have them listed on their website so i called them. They are apparently the least informed of the bunch as they said they aren't on their site because they're not even out yet.
"really?", i said, "cuz I'm on Amazon right now and they are showing 8 of them in stock, supplied through Cameraland". He didn't know what to say, so i placed my order for one on Amazon, and got confirmation it should be shipping tomorrow or Monday. We shall see...

As tempting as it is to jump to one of the guys who have it in stock. I'm sticking to my commitment to Scott, who has been a champ with email and has always taken care of me before. It's not like the ammo situation around me is getting any better, and I've got other rifles that have been occupying my time. Sure do wish I had one to play with this weekend, though.
