Bought a t3 vmnt 223 1:8 for a trainer, wanted a longer throat and looked into the Ptg uni throater. Rented one from 4D.
I upped my precision by making a rear guide for the handle and borrowing a set of reamer pilots. Dycum blue on bullet shows it cut really uniform and clean. I'll post some groups but I'm confident it will go right back to shooting.
I'm very excited about a diy freebore option and I'm sure I'll be ordering a 6mm tool to have around for my match rifles. Hope this helps someone.
