I have a Pulsar Trail XQ50 that I currently use as my primary scope. I am the second owner and it is out of warranty. It has some striations or vertical lines that show in the scope and don’t go away until I nuc it. The scope is still usable, holds zero and can provide a nice picture. Though the lines can be annoying. They are easily fixed, but come back after a few minutes. I called pulsar about sending it in to possibly fix, but won’t know price or if it’s even fixable until they get the device in hand.
Should I send it in? I’m worried since the trail is no longer produced, that I am SOL. I’d hate to ship it to them on my dime, just for them to say it’s not fixable.
