I have been searching the web looking for some info on the trail 2 hoping to get some help from the hide members.
Questions
1. How well does the rangefinder work?
2. At what power is the mil reticle true or does it act like a ffp day scope?
3.when sight in is the x and y axis clicks fine enough for a good zero?
4.while using the range finder in scan mode and picture in picture to make the shot does the mil ret hold true at the picture in picture mode?

I'll try help I sold mine as soon as I got it so going off memory from the Trail XP50 LRF I owned.

1. Rangefinder worked great
2. Believe it's true on base mag, not ffp
3. X&Y were always fine enough
4. It "should"

Good luck

I can answer those based on my Trail 2 XQ50 LRF.

1. The rangefinder works well inside of 300yds on coyotes. Don't expect it to consistantly range them at 400. My Trail 1 was the same. I'm not sure, but I think it's the same LRF in all their models.

2&4. The mil reticle is FFP in both the main screen and PIP. It scales to size no matter the Magnification. I haven't actually checked to see if the Subtensions are true.

3. No issues with a fine zero. My Trail 1 held zero after they upgraded the housing. I've never had an issue with the Trail 2 moving. The zero stays on a 1x1 square when I check it.

XQ50 VS Halo image is no comparison, although the initial detection range seems to be about the same.
Accolade XP50 vs Halo is closer, but the Halo still clearly wins.
I don't view the Pulsar reticle as being suitable for long range. It's only graduated in 1 full mil increments and the dots and lines are too thick to be precise. You can select the color, so that's a bonus.
The LRF leaves a little to be desired. But at least it actually works, so it does have that going for it.
