Rifle Scopes QD mount and caps for the SS 1-4x24..........

I'm going to order a SS 1-4x24 and wanted to know A) which model of LaRue works best with it and B) if it was worth it to order the BC lens caps at the same time.

If there's a better mount or way to protect the lenses, please let me know....thanks!

Check to see if SWFA is still offers the package deal that come with the Bobro mount, which equates to being free.

I would recommend the Bobro as well. It is a better mount than LaRue makes. I had a LaRue and when I got a Bobro, sold the LaRue and bought a couple more Bobros. They are very good mounts.

It depends on the reticle you choose for the package price. The tpost reticle includes the bobro mount, the circle reticle does not.

I was going to get a larue, but took a chance and went with the bobro mount just to keep things simple and order everything from SWFA. I've never handled a larue so can't comment on them, but I can tell you that the bobro is a well built, solid mount. I'm definitely impressed with it. I ordered the butler creek covers, and suggest you throw in the switchview for the mag adjust as well.

That would be nice to order everything from SWFA......wish they had the mount deal on the Circle reticle!

I have a couple LaRue mounts that I'm very happy with but I'm all ears on the Bobro. What would you say makes the Bobro superior to the LaRue??

BTW - if it makes a difference, I'll be using a Troy BUIS so the mount/optic will need to clear the folded rear sight.
