most qd mounts return to zero fine , just make sure to put the mount in the same picatinny slots
you don't necessarily need qd mounts unless you want to be able to swap them quickly. even good non qd mounts will return to zero pretty good as long as they're in the same picatinny slots and re tightened down to the same torque. if you witness mark the mount's nuts to the mount you won't even need a torque wrench each time , just tighten down until the marks line up
