Rifle Scopes Qd scope rings question

hello everyone,. Obviously I am new here, but love the info i find on here.

I have a sako a7 300 win mag, and a tikka t3 lite 308 that i want to interchange a swfa 5-20x50. Dont have the funds for another scope right now. I have picatinny bases for both these guns and i am wondering if this larue qd rings or this accucam qd bolt gun will work on my guns and clear a 50mm scope. And if they both do which one is preferred and wouldnt damage the scope/leave rings.

I don't have any experience with either of those mounts but if I was going to go with one or the other I would do the one piece mount. I have a GG&G one piece mount for an M1A and it's return to zero is pretty darn close after taking the mount off and re-installing.
You may want to call SWFA and ask what they would recommend for your situation as well. They are very friendly and helpful there and since it's their scope they may have some unique insight.

The best mount or rings that I've seen do this are the rings and mounts made by American Rifle Co.

I did the same thing with a pair of extremely good custom rifles to test the return to zero claims that the company makes. Repeatability was within the limits of both rifles.

The process I used for the initial setup was:

1) Mount scope to rifle A
2) Zero on Rifle A, zero the caps out
3) Place scope and rings on Rifle B
4) Zero Rifle B and note the offset in the turrets from A to B
5) Remove scope from B and replace it on A, dial the turret correction in and recheck zero on Rifle A.
6) Repeat step 5 for Rifle B

Now you have the correlation between the two rifles with the ammo used.

I keep the allen key for the rings in the stock pack with the rifle at all times.
