Ok. THis is the info for MY RIFLE. I entered my H20 case capacity, my seating depth, and my rifle information. This information is NOT to be used with your rifle, that is why I omitting the caliber and bullet. Now having posted my disclaimer, I have a question.

I picked a velocity that I want to run. I have ran one of these powder and I'm getting very consistent velocities (within 15-20fps) after I entered the above information. When selecting powders a "potentials" from below, what would you choose and why? I'm learning on releading for long range. I picked 3000 as the velocity as it gives me the range I'm looking for in JBS ballistics. Outside of Norma powder, I have access to all powder (to buy I mean). The powders below are the powders that are listed in my reloading power for MY caliber and bullet. I obviously would reduce below charges and work up accordingly. Just trying to predict which powder may be work a try. My assumption, and I could be wrong, is that I want to try a powder that will give me the velocity that I want at the lowest pressure, but with the highest cartridge fill ratio.

Of the powders listed, I would try all of the Hodgdon powders first. This is simply due to their ability to resist change in burn rate/velocity due to temperature. If temperature stability isn't something you want/desire, either Reloader-19 or Reloader-22 should work. I "personally" wouldn't use Accurate or Ramshot brand powders for long range precision work because, with the exception of a few guys running TAC in 223/556 rifles, I haven't really read of any positive experiences. Hell, I haven't really read ANY experiences (good or bad) about Accurate or Ramshot brand powders from the LR community, with the one exception being TAC. I take that as a clue, although I (we?) could be wrong.

I don't put ALL of my stock in what QuickLoad has told me over the years. I use it as a guideline only, and just use it as a tool that *usually* points me in the right direction.
