Question about Bergara B14 HMR

I just picked up a Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor. I was reading that the rifle has a Remington 700 footprint. Does that mean I can install an aftermarket trigger for a Remington 700, or does that only pertain to stocks,chassis, mounts etc?

Pretty sure they use remington 700 triggers, they come with timneys on some models, so they'd likely know.

I asked them, the b14 action is compatible with r700 stocks, triggers, rails, and DBM

How do you like the HMR so far? I realize you just got it so not much trigger time to report, but what are you initial impressions? The HMR is on my list of rifles I'm considering.

The fit and finish is superb, and the weight is balanced nicely. I haven't shot it yet, but I'll post a review when I do
