So i understand, no one can sell until 100 posts, and that commercial sales are prohibited until contribution is made.

But lets say, someone has knowledge that one of their local places is going out of business and there might be some good deals to be had, are they allowed to spread the word or is that a big no no?

completely hypothetical question.

Re: question about forum rules

IMHO that would not be selling anything, rather "spreading the word of an existing sale". As long as you dont profit from it.

Re: question about forum rules

apparently the question has most people scared. but i agree with idea that i have nothing to gain, and other people might have something to lose...or miss out on. but then again i am not the ruler of the forum.

true this, but if i get banned before i can ask for forgiveness then that kinda backfires

After thinking on it I can see the point. If you make an exception for one yo have to make an exception for more and more. 100 posts aiht that much if your rreally interested.
