I lucked onto a nice 6.8 barrel and had the rest of the gun in parts, so I put the thing together. Now I need to put together some ammo. I understand there is large rifle and small rifle primer brass. My question is which primer size brass is best...small primer or large??? I am going to guess and say small but not sure. What size primers does the military use??? Does the small primer brass have a small flash hole {like PPC stuff}???? And if so, does that make it more accurate/desirable {again, like PPC stuff}??? Thanks in advance for any info and if you have some brass/bullets you want to get rid of please let me know.

I don't know if its bad to direct you somewhere else, but if you go to silver state armory they have a forum especially for the 6.8 I'm sure someone there could tell you anything you want to know about the 6.8.

You definitely want small primer brass like what is available from Silver State Armory, Hornady, or Federal. You can buy 1x fired Federal brass from LWRC when it is available. Most 6.8 shooters use CCI450, CCI41, or Wolf/Tula 5.56 magnum primers. The best deal on bullets for target/plinking is the 115gr Nosler CC from Shooters Pro Shop when they are available (see link below). Good powders for 100-120 gr bullets are Accurate 2200, H322, H335, Alliant 1200R, RE 10X, and LT32. I definitely would recommend taking a look at the 6.8 Forum. They have lots of good information.
