I am new to Precision shooting so take it easy.
I am thinking about acquiring a Sig Kilo 3K handheld LRF and a Samsung Table to install the Ballistic software of choice.
My question is: can the software get the weather data from the LRF?
I know most people just use their smart phone, but I don't wish to use a smart phone.
The Kilo 3K advertises that it has the data sensor to do real time calculations.
I understand that most people use a Kestral for getting their weather data, but I am not sure that I am at that point to spend that kind of money.
By starting with just a LRF and a tablet, it would get me started and if need I can get a Kestral later if needed.
HOLDS 25 BULLET PROFILES AND 8 BALLISTIC GROUPS - Environmental sensors provide real-time calculations for ballistics; applied Ballistics Ultralite has a complete bullet database with 25 profiles and 8 onboard groups, ensuring you get accurate data
