Question for the moderators

I have been gone for a while, I got signed back in and the site seems to be in some "dark" mode? is there a way I can change this ?
I have poked around and dont see much help.

One more if you will.... Where are the parameters for posting ? I found some rules and such but none of it pertains to posting in certain areas on here?
