Working on a build based on the Sako TRG M995. Looking to shoot the Berger 300 hybrid and going to have a reamer made but a few questions if anyone has any insight.

1. Can a 300g bullet be loaded up into the neck, and still fit a TRG mag?

2. Same question for the 250g

3. Recommendations on chamber dimensions for 338LM.

4. Wondering if I chamber it for the 300 grain if I'll still be OK shooting lighter bullets?

Regards,
Layton

Re: Question on .338LM chamber dimensions

That I will probably have to single feed if I seat out in the neck. I just need to build the dummy and see what happens. Good thing is I can still shoot down so when I'm shooting hogs I can load up the mag. When I say shooting hogs i really mean shooting at. LOL.

Thanks but this is a Sako TRG M995 action and I don't see bottom metal for it there. The TRG-42 mags work with existing metal though so I'm going that route.

edited add- Actually McMillan is providing the metal which is the same as stock.
