hope this is the right section for this question. i am a long time f class shooter that is ready to start shooting a more challanging match i am wondering what i need to shoot most matches for a tactical shoot. i shoot a 6x47 lapua and am wondering if that is enough rifle and what gear i need to have fun.

You would most definitly need a good backpack, rangefinder, and a scope that tracks. Oh and a sqeezebag not a heavy sandbag. THe 6x47 would do great exept for you will probably lose a few pieces of brass. A DBM would be good but I have been to alot of matches where a magazine doesn't help too much. After you have a few things just go to a match and shoot. You'll pick up on things that would make it easier.
