I was offered a trade for a rifle I’ve been searching for for awhile. This packing includes a NF beast MOAR 5-25 with Sphur Mount like new. Are these still desired scopes? What is the value of them?
I don’t shoot moa and not sure of desirability/value of moa stuff these days.

Almost close to 0 desirability especially in MOA for that scope. It was discontinued awhile back. It’s say you’d be lucky to get $2k for it. Maybe would sell around $1500 unless you happen to find someone that just absolutely has to have that scope. Realistically I’d consider it almost 0 value if it was me.

MOA is pretty much the name of the game in F Class and the other NRA high power disciplines. So it may be of a pretty good value for any club F Class competitor.

This.

It likely won't bring good money here, but if you put it up on some forums geared towards f-class someone will buy it.

It was a nice scope and paved the way for NF's ATACR line. It was a pain with the .2 mil dialing and then using the lever for .1, not sure how the MOA version worked. PM, I might know a guy that is looking for one

I’d sell it for whatever you could get for it. Optics have came a long way in a short amount of time and that’s one scope I believe did not retain any value or at least gonna be lucky to get anything for it.

My reasoning is F-class is still full of fudds that are dead set on moa being superior because it's inches.
The finer adjustment possible with 1/4 and 1/8 moa scopes make them superior in a sport that requires much more precision than just hitting steel anywhere.

Your assumption has nothing to do with it.

Found the fudd! 🤣

I have a sightron in 1/8th moa. It's maddening to make adjustments. That said, it's now available in .05 mill and I would prefer it.
