F T/R Competition Questions about diopter for match rifle.

Picked up this rifle for Mid range and Long range, maybe even XTC. Its an Eliseo 5r in 6mm BR norma.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what diopter lens to get, where to mount it (front sight or rear sight, what power might be applicable (I am 57, don't need glasses to see the front sight, but its almost that time) and where to buy it?

I also am wondering if I should get a variable front sight aperture, as I know nothing about them. Any advice would be much appreciated.







I had a great shooter recommend a + 0.3 and +0.5 front lens, from OK weber. Tubb also suggests a rear diopter in the same power, but how that fits in with the Gehmann variable rear aperature is baffling me.
