Questions regarding SA M1A Super Match/McMillan

I have been searching for one of these for a very long time now (the McMillan fiberglass camo stock) and finally located one. The salesman at the local gun shop was explaining to me that the particular rifle he had was not the McMillan stock, but some other fiberglass stock. I think he is mistaken. SA part # on the rifle is SA9805, which seems right.

Question - did SA ever offer this rifle with some other stock, other than the McMillan, in the camo finish???

I think that would be better asked of the sales department at SA.

it says that that model has a McM stock.

and im sure it being a holiday weekend he was just trying to get an answer before tuesday.

The only reason for the question was just to be 100% sure. I am a big SA fan, own lots of SA weapons. I have purchased many guns from this particular dealer, and I trust his word. But this time around I was uncertain. I have gone to the SA website and seen the model SA 9805 and yes, it does come with the McMillan camo stock. I just wasn't sure if in the past had another stock offered and perhaps discontinued it.

Anyhow, it has since been verified that it is the McMillan stock. I wound up buying the rifle. Very excited to add it to the collection. Probably outfit it with a USO, harris bipod, sling, and that should do it!

If it is used, it is possible that the stock currently on it is not the original stock.
