How does the mark 2 compare to a Vari-X III?
I found a used Vari-X III 6.5-20x40LR I could buy for the same price as a new Leupold Mark 2 Tactical T1 Rifle Scope 6-18x 40mm Adjustable Objective Mil-Dot Reticle Matte.
Both are about $500.00. Which would make a better choice? I am not very familiar with the Mark 2 but am somewhat familiar with the Vari-X III.
