Im currently assembling my first rifle based on the Origin action. Planning on using a trigger tech trigger. Just to confirm, the origin has the bolt release built in so I can use a TT trigger without a bolt release. Is this correct?

Yeah idk I could feel the cocking on close and didn’t like it so called ray and told him and he said yeah I’ll send you the correct cocking piece

Yeah maybe it’s a nice to add feature if you work the bolt slower and feel it but I never felt any issues with my TL3 or Origin when at the range or at matches. Feels the same as it does with my Timney Calvin Elite and HIT in those actions. I’d tell the OP or anyone to run how it came and see before worrying about calling Zermatt. If they find an issue then call.

That was fixed a handful of years ago. They come with less cock on close by default now with both bix and tt.

Edit: I believe the old one had something on the order of .035 cock on close, my original with the replacement pin and two others since now come out to damn near 0, too little to measure that specifically with the caliper end.

Do you know when the change was? I have the bighorn TL3 and there is a lot of cock on close.
