So I got my copy of "Quiet Killers" and I have to say that for the pics alone, the book is worth it. It would still be worth it at five times the price, IMO. The reading? I somehow feel the guy writing this comes across as an academic who by proxy of writing the book seems to be one of the "included" among us who've been there done that. it seems that everybody on 'the other side of the fence' always uses a suppressor. While all of us in SOC were trained on them at some point, not all of us did use them. And, certainly not all the time.

pics to be added as I edit...

Here's one we had discussed in the past, but no one knew who/what/where about it. It is a Rem 700 with an ART(ARTEL) scope mounted on it.

I always laugh at that suppressor obsession. I qualified with them, had them in the locker but only used them a handful of times. Suppressors do make damn fine muzzle brakes in dusty situations though...LOL

Okay, this is weird. The pics ain't showing. And neither are all the edits.

After at least a dozen edit efforts, the pic showed in the first post...don't know what I was doing wrong, and now doing right, but there it is.

my buddy said his teams were the same way. I think he said if any got used it was the mk12s.

since my sticks are just range queens, I love them. I couldn't shoot my 700/300 without it as I am a notorious recoil pussy who refuses to eat his Wheaties.
