qusetion about trigger pins.

i have seen on some AR'S where the pins that hold the trigger in are connected extornaly buy a thin piece of metal. i was looking for a pick with no luck. i was wondering what this is for. and where to get it.

They are anti rotation pins so when the trigger rotates the pins won't wear the upper pin holes. Brownells is a good place to look also midway USA.

KNS pins, some live by them some don't care for them.

JP enterprises makes a set that do not utilize the external bar. They do however need blue lock tite on the screws or they will untwist themselves and fall off. I used to use them but when I switched to the SSA they became obsolete.
I like the way the anti walk pins tightened up the trigger group and when coupled with an extra power hammer spring they made for a decent "stock trigger".
