Rain Shell

I'm looking to buy a waterproof, or gore-tex rain shell that can be used to lay prone in the mud and shoot but stay dry. I have some arcteryx stuff but its too nice to destroy laying on shooting props.

The first thing that came to mind was a poncho.

PDW makes a soft shell rain garment with high end Gore alternatives (Schoeller etc). The softshell face fabric should wear sturdier than most hard shells even some of Arcteryx’s LEAF line Gore membrane stuff.
