Rainier Ultramatch Billet Upper

Anyone have any experience with these? I am torn between a Vltor MUR and the Rainier to put on my last Mega billet lower I have. I wanted to do an accuracy build with it. Maybe do DMR class with the local PRS club with it.

Actually going small frame. I am not a fan of large frame AR's.

I've had both, personally I would go with the Vltor so you don't have that big ass Rainier Arms engraving on the left side.

I just finished a build with a Ranier Arms ultramatch mod 3 receiver set and I couldn't believe that quality of those receivers. I purchased the recievers separately from each other instead of buying them paired just to save a couple bucks and was worried that they wouldn't be a perfect fit to each other but I was quickly proven wrong. Everything was tight and in alignment. You definitely get what you pay for (top notch) when it comes to Ranier Arms. The upper didn't even need lapping. I highly recommend their stuff.

Whatever you go with, I encourage you to get it built and to get out to the matches. Being from PA, I assume you’re referring to the Mason Dixon series?

If so, I’m also shooting DMR class this year and it gives up very little to the bolt guns with the ranges we shoot.

Yes the Mason Dixon series. I actually was thinking of also doing the Geissele Gas Gun Challenge also.

You will see me at the matches this year using my SCAR 20. Need to finish the AR for end of year and a varmint hunt with a good friend.
