I took my new rifle out today to do some load development. There is very little reloading data with this powder so I started low & worked up, I did not see any pressure signs and the bolt lift never got heavy. The 6th group was shot by my wife and she was close to the edge of the chronograph when she shot, which is the only explanation I have for the large velocity increase. The 7th-10th groups all had at least 1 shot with a high velocity, never a low velocity. The gun/caliber was a pleasure to shoot and exceeded my expectations. All of the groups were at or under 1moa and it took just under 3 hours to shoot 50 rounds. To keep the barrel cool I used a air pump. I think 78.0 is the start of a node, I'll have to go up a little more to find out.
