Random Question

Re: Random Question

Just a guess but I think it's because they send out a lot of junk and have horrible customer service.

I could be wrong, maybe it's because they have an ugly logo or something.

Re: Random Question

The most common complaint that i have heard, is that they have a shoddy product. It seems like older oa rifles are fine, while newer ones arent as good. I have never owned an oa rifle though, so take it with a grain of salt. just my .02

Re: Random Question

Back in the day they used cast lower receivers, which had issues, and they grew a hatred. They have not used cast lowers for some time now, but there is still a lingering distaste. I don't own any of their products, not for any good reason. The only thing they make that I WOULD have bought was their lower receiver that accepts Glock mags. Unfortunately they will only sell you a complete rifle, not just the lower, so I had to wait for Lone Wolf to produce one. I guess they did the business case and decided they'd make more money monopolizing the Glock-compatible carbine market for a while.

Re: Random Question

Ohh, I see. I've been wondering for awhile why alot of people keep saying Oly Arms sucks. So far I've had mine for about a year, no issues except for my first day shooting it, after that it was good to go so far around 2000 rounds without a failure, accuracy is decent. My only complaint is the finish on the lower seems to be fading quick. I've never had to deal with their customer service though, so I cant really comment on that.

What are the main issues people usually have with the quality of the product??
