I am new to long range shooting and I just ordered a SWFA SS 10x42 with a mil dot reticle and MRAD turret so I don't need to worry about moa conversion. Where can I get a dope chart for bullet drop in mills?

I am using a Remington 700 AAC-SD in .308 with PMC ammo.

you make your own or use a ballistic calculator like shooter on a phone or electronic device. there is also a slide rule called an fdac that works well with .308 but its not going to match up to your pmc shit ammo. it wont take you long to figure out youre going to want good ammo for any long range work.

you will need the bullet weight, b.c., muzzle velocity to get you started.

I use an FDAC with Southwest Ammunition 175 grain .308 ammo @2700fps and it is dead on. The crappy ammo will not help you out any. Spend the $$ for good ammo to maximize your shooting skills(wherever they're at) and your rifle's potential.

Yeahh, its not quite that easy. What's the bc of your projectile? The muzzle velocity and extreme spread of the ammo out of YOUR rifle? How about the twist rate of the barrel? Sight height? Meterological/environmental conditions your sighting in at vs. Shooting in? 0 distance? Your definition of "long range" etc. Etc. If it was that easy everyone would be shooting cans of stew @ 2k.
