Range finder for extended range hunting.

So I’m on the fence and would like some input from yall that have real world experience with some or all of the following range finders.
I’d primarily be using it for long range target and hunting. Ive had deer at 400 that my older vortex ranger 1300 struggled to ranges

If you vote please give some insight to why you voted the way you did

I primarily have spots within 800 ish yards but would like the ability to range animals farther if scouting.

Is the applied ballistics kite in the sig kilo series any good and worth spending the money to get?

How does the vortex razor 4000 and vortex’s ballistic app compare?

I have the Sig 3ks and used my dad’s 6ks some this year. I think rangefinding binos are the way to go. The AB lite seems to work well enough, and the ability to go direct to the kestrel is nice too. The vortex GeoBallistics app is great too. I’ve been using it since before vortex owned it with great success. I use it as a backup to my kestrel

While hunting, I use binoculars with built in rangefinder.

The less stuff I carry while hunting, the easier I can move about.

AB lite is limited to 800 yards. There's a few other limitations, but that's usually the one that hurts.

So, if you have another device for your ballistic calculator it's not a big deal. If you planned on relying on it for everything it can be a big deal.

I like the look of the sig glass better than vortex. This is especially true of the rangefinder binos. I'd skip the canyon model though, and go 6k or 10k based on AB lite or elite.
