Since the Berger 130gr hybrid is unavailable, I tried a box of the 135 Classic Hunter. The stuff is just as good in my AI AT. Specs are:
avg velocity 2661 with Magnetospeed v3
sd 5.9
elevation 900
temp 40f
rh 51%
pressure 30.2
Group size .62” or .59 moa
Shot off bipod. I’m a newbie, and my 66 year old eyes aren’t great, so an experienced rifleman could do better.
Seems to be excellent ammo.

Does this use large or small rifle primers?

Why such a low MV, I'm assuming you may have a short barrel?

Uses small primers. I cant explain the low velocity. Have a 24” barrel. My first time using the chrono. Bought it used, maybe it has a problem. Factory velocity from 26” barrel is 2851.

Yeah...that MV would not be good at distance. Your measured MV is definitely off. The difference in barrel length wouldn't account for 190 fps. I can't believe the MS chronograph is that off. Did you have it attached properly?

Well, I just updated the firmware and will try again after double-checking mounting and spacing when I next go to the range. Thanks for the thoughts.

The same ammo clocked 2,720 through my 20” creed. And that’s the first shots through the Bartlein barrel so I expect it to speed up after 100-150 rounds.
