Been seeing a surge in popularity with RANGER GREEN gear lately and have been giving thought to picking up a field set from Crye for testing. The tone seems like a good balance for those needing a color that can transition well between day and night ops. Any thoughts or impressions would be appreciated.........

Thanks,
Zac

My gear is ranger green but I havent seen any BDU's or such in them yet, it works well down here in GA.

Re: RANGER GREEN - anyone here field ranger green?

All they had when I servered was Woodland BDU's with LBE' in O.D. so I liked them.
But I like the Ranger Green and think it's a better color then the O.D.

Just my .02

What happened to good old woodland??? ACU = shit I do like MARPAT woodland and desert and why the hell would the Airforce need tiger stripe and the Navy have blue MARPAT.....and the Multicam has to grow on me.

It was nice when all branches had the same color!

The Ranger green looks like a faded OD,,,I like it!

i gotta back sierra on this one.
although, if anyone wants to convince me on multi cam, i'll gladly except a pair of those 300 some dollar crye multicams, to give them a proper eval.

We switched to RG vests aver a year ago and we like them. Though we are wearing woodland digi the RG is a great color.

Here is my RG vest with a OD hydro carrier and FB pouch on the back.
