This is a very rare original S&B P/M (predecessor to the PM II), 30mm with P1 police reticle. In amazing condition. Produced in 1995 and was mounted on my 1995 SR-25 that never saw the outdoors.

$2500 $2250 Shipped

I was very fortunate several years ago to buy two of those from an outfit in the UK. They were pulls from sniper rifles going thru rebuild.

Both scopes were in excellent condition.

One is black, the other in AI tan. That one is on my FN A3G.

One can't go wrong with one of these old-school beauties.

This one isn’t military. It looks to be aluminium bodied, making it a commercial one. Military spec ones have steel bodies, AI/police reticule (not P-1 Bryant), and BDC marked elevation turret.

Still rare as is and very solid scopes for their age. I had one of both. They hold their ground against PM2s. Wish I’d kept them.

GLWS.

I know who did the "aftermarket" paintjob on these. Yours is one of his. Most of the steel ones with AI/police reticules were surplused from the Spanish Army.

Most interesting, and indeed that is what the woman that sold them to me said. I also have a foto purportedly taken somewhere the Spanish team was at, showing one of the same scopes on a rifle.

The tan one has some sort of extended male thread ring protruding past the objective bell. I sent S&B in Germany a foto of it, asking how it might have been used, they replied it is not a male thread, but an optical illusion. Nonsense there.

It is amazing just how small the world of sniper gear is, even if the tools can't talk.
