For a bout a year or so now, I have been wanting a super cool FDE .308 AR. I managed to acquire a LMT MWS .308 and decked it out in super cool Magpul FDE furniture as seen here

I was content.
BUT after seeing the KAC M110 Carbine, I figured it wouldn't hurt to change the look again
M110 Carbine:
I didnt want to go all crazy with my gun and put something on it that would be hard to take off, so I decided that I would paint my LMT with a rattle can (that way I can strip everything off if I hate the look). I came across this thread on how to get close to FDE with a rattle can:

Today, I gave it a go and this is how it turned out!
Not too bad for a rattle can job. It matches a lot better than my camera will allow you to see. It is MUCH closer to FDE in person, but it is still a tad bit lighter.
Now I am one tiny mall-ninja step closer to having a M110 carbine clone (which would be impossible given the nature of the LMT's monolithic upper, but shhh).
