Just starting to learn how to reload. I received an RCBS Rock Chucker II the other day but there was a hole in the box and the Handle is missing. I see Inline Fabrication makes a replacement but I was considering trying to get one made out of stainless steel at a fab shop as I can’t find any other replacements that resemble the factory handle. I can’t find the dimensions other than the 5/8-18 nut. Does anyone happen to know the diameter and length of the factory handle?

It looks to be well made, and I may end up
with no other option, but I have a very small space (Bench is 36”x30”) to work with and that handle sticks out to the right farther meaning I would have to shift the press more to the left. I should have a new room to work with by the end of the year.

Called and they answered. They have a replacement but it’s $50+shipping. So now I just have to decide whether to buy it or the Inline Handle.
I can't answer for the RC 2, but the way the Inline handle fits on my RC Supreme it only sticks out around 1.5 to 2 inches further than the standard handle. Just looking at the Inline handle it looks like it would stick out much farther, but because of the way it is bent it's not that bad. Can't answer for sure how it would be different on your press.

That’s not bad then. I’ll probably end up ordering the IF Friday. I can’t see spending the same amount on a factory one and eventually buying the IF later.

Swapped out for InLine Fabrication some years back, after cranking on the original since 1982.
Found it arms length away (just in case needed it , at that time) and it will never be going back on the RCII.
Could use a good home....

Yours free for cost of shipping.
Drop me a PM if you‘re interested...

Im going to go ahead and order the Inline Fab. Everyone has spoken very highly of it and I found a way to make it work with my bench. Thank you though.

Totally agree with your decision... You won’t be disappointed.
I was a slow learner swapping the rock chucker handle when the Dillon 650 had been upgraded 20 years ago.
Once I had the measurements I talked to a few machine shops and was surprised at what it would cost to have one built. Then the more I looked into it everyone was swapping to the IF handle so there must be a reason for that. I have filed a claim with USPS. Maybe I can get them to reimburse me for it. We shall see.
