I know that it doesn't give a reloader the "warm fuzzies" to have +/- .3gr chargeweight variance, but seriously, you can have very very good ammo with that much variance.
IMR8208 is a pretty good powder for 223 with heavy-ish bullets, and though it is also an extruded stick powder, its kernels are much smaller than Varget and RL15, and it meters pretty decent...say about +/- .2gr. CFE223 and Alliant 2000MR are both ball powders and meters better yet. However, I think you'll be surprised just how well you can do with thrown charges of Varget and/or RL15.
